Hi all on do you travel

My name is Maurice I have just joined your site on the 16th April 2009.

The purpose of this blog is to give you an insight into my family's second holiday to America and perhaps the reader could post some tips and comments or even their experiences on similar holidays.

Over the next few months I will be preparing to travel with my wife Patricia, daughter Stacy and Grandaughter Jade. We would like to share with you our preparations and experiences of our holiday. Our holiday is to Orlando Florida( 9 days) (Las Vagas(4 days) Los Angeles(3days)and San Francisco for 3 days. Departing from Belfast Ireland on the 31st July to arrive in London the same day, then fly out from Gatwick the following morning. the reason for departing from Belfast a day early is that we want to be sure of catching the flight at gatwick,because we would loose all our money if we missed the flight. So basically our holiday package does not include the trip to London. We have paid for our holiday in full and just today have paid for our theme park tickets in Orlando, Patricia and Stacy ary shopping for cloths and stuff. One lesson we learned when we travelled to Orlando in 2005 was that we brought to much luggage with us and had to leave a lot behind.

Although our holiday is about 15 weeks away there is great excitment, I reckon that the build up to the holiday is part of it. We will update our blog with pictures and videos as things progress. See you soon
